The biggest challenge for wooden deckings is waterlogging. Wherever wooden components rest and they are not surrounded by air, there is a risk that moisture will collect there, will not be able to dry off and will damage the wood sooner or later. Our pads are designed to keep the subfloor timbers at a distance from the support points (e.g. concrete slabs). This ensures the drying of moisture at all times, and also prevents moisture from the substrate from rising into the wood. For these purposes, the pads are made of rubber granules and are 8 mm thick. What this means for you is that constructive wood protection has never been so easy to implement.
